October 14, 1736- John Williams dies at the age of 31 in Whitemarsh, Pennsylvania.
The son of John Williams and Eleanor Klincken, he married Catharine Marle in 1732.
His will is recorded in Philadelphia. It mentions his wife, Catharine, his minor son Joseph, and minor daughter
Margaret.
Executor, wife Catharine, "with advice and consent of Anthony Williams and John Moore". Signed Aug. 20, 1736.
Witnesses, Samuel Morris, Anthony Tunis, Evan Jones. Proved Sept. 11, 1736.
October 30, 1736- Nathan Potts marries Esther Rhoades in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Nathan is a blacksmith by trade. The couple settled in Whitemarsh Township, now included in Montgomery County.
The marriage appears in the records of the First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia. As his marriage was accomplished contrary to the usage of Friends, he was required to make acknowledgment for his "outgoing," which he made November 31, 1742, to Abington Monthly Meeting. .

February 1736, Pennsylvania
February 21, 1736- My seventh great grandaunt, Eleanor Klincken, dies at the age of 65 in Germantown, Philadelphia county, Pennsylvania.
Eleanor was the daughter of Arents Klincken & Niske Agnes Jensen, who came from Dalem, near Creyfelt, in Holland, to this country in 1683, having known William Penn in Holland. Arents Klincken built the first two-story house ever raised in Germantown, Pennsylvania, having been present and partaken of the raising-dinner. It stood near the southwest corner of Main and Tulpehocken Streets. Arents Klincken served several years as burgess of Germantown, but finally, in 1691, declined longer service for conscience' sake.
Eleanor was born in Germany, and in 1696, married John Williams in Germantown. They built the first brick house in Germantown.
Eleanor lies buried in the Friend's Burying Ground in Germantown.

January 17, 1736- Anthony Williams, a farmer, marries Sarah Shoemaker, daughter of George Shoemaker and granddaughter of Richard Wall, at Abington, Pennsylvania. The wedding was held at the home of Richard Wall.
They settled in Bristol Township, adjoining the homestead farm in Cheltenham.
January 29, 1736- Jacob Shoemaker marries Margaret Conard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

August 1, 1730- Christopher Sherman is born to Thomas Shearman & Sarah Sisson in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island.
August 4, 1730- My sixth great grandfather, John Randall, is born in Foster, Providence County, Rhode Island. There is an issue with the research here. Most family trees list his parents as Henry & Susanna Randall. This is highly unlikely, as Susanna was born in 1674. This does not seem possible, and throws much of my earlier Randall associations into question. I'm working on it.
One possibility is that he is the child of John Randall & Martha Williams, but I have not found verification.
Connecticut Town Birth Records, pre-1870 (Barbour Collection) Record for John Randall lists his father as Captain John Randall.
The American Genealogical-Biographical Index (AGBI) lists his birthdate as 1730, in the rolls of Connecticut men who served in the French and Indian War. This would account for his also being referred to as "Captain."

May 8, 1730- Sarah Doolittle, wife of Abel Parmalee, dies following childbirth at the age of 26 in Litchfield, Connecticut. The infant, Sarah, does not survive.
Before her marriage to Abel Parmalee, Sarah Doolittle had a "natural" child by Henry Williams of Haddam, Martha, born September 10, 1722 in Wallingford. Sarah and Henry never married. The little girl died in 1725.
Sarah Doolittle was the daughter of Theophilus Doolittle and Thankful Hall. Abel Parmelee would later wed Mary Beecher.

May 28, 1729- Abel Parmelee marries Sarah Doolittle in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut. The marriage would be short, Sarah would die the following year shortly after the birth of their only child, Sarah. The infant did not survive.
Abel would go on to wed Mary Beecher in 1731.

May 1, 1723- Joseph Ambler, husband of Ann Williams, purchases a tract of 90 acres of land from William Morgan in Montgomeryville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
May 2, 1723- Gerhard DeHaven and wife Mary Sellen, along with his brother Herman DeHaven and wife Anneken Op den Graeff conveyed 200 acres at the upper end of their 440 acre tract in Germantown to Peter Jansen, May 2, 1723.

A daughter, Elizabeth DeHaven, was born to Herman & Anneken on May 6, 1723 in Skippack, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
Herman DeHaven and his family then moved to New Providence, where he was living in 1734 on a 200 acre tract. He built a saw mill and grist mill. He also kept an ordinary or inn. He was granted a license for the inn in 1734.
