The Worland Family in America and Beyond

I began my life in the Puget Sound area of Washington State, on an island filled with forests and wild rhododendrons. I was separated from my Worland family there at an early age. Recently, I was reunited with my family and learned of my heritage. And so, this journey to know my ancestors began. The Worlands, Gideons, Newtons, Conards... they were the colonists, the settlers, the pioneers. They fought in the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Civil War. January 1728, Connecticut

January 5, 1728- Daniel Turner is born to John Turner & Abigail Richards in Hartford, Connecticut.

January 7, 1728- Daniel Roberts, Jr. is born to Daniel Roberts & Eunice Cornwall in Middletown village, Middlesex, Connecticut Colony.


January 18, 1728- Hamlin Johnson is born to Joseph Johnson & Mehitable Hamlin in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut.

January 31, 1728- Keziah Doolittle is born to John Doolittle & Mary Frederick in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut.

(Daniel Turner is my second cousin 8 times removed. Our common ancestors are Edward Turner & Mary Sanford.
Daniel Roberts, Jr. is my second cousin 7 times removed. Our common ancestors are John Cornwall & Martha Peck. Hamlin Johnson is his second cousin. Their common ancestors are John Blake & Sarah Hall. Hamlin Johnson is my second cousin 7 times removed.
Keziah Doolittle is my second cousin 8 times removed. Our common ancestor is Abraham Doolittle.)
