The Worland Family in America and Beyond

I began my life in the Puget Sound area of Washington State, on an island filled with forests and wild rhododendrons. I was separated from my Worland family there at an early age. Recently, I was reunited with my family and learned of my heritage. And so, this journey to know my ancestors began. The Worlands, Gideons, Newtons, Conards... they were the colonists, the settlers, the pioneers. They fought in the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Civil War. 1735, Pennsylvania

1735- My fifth great grandaunt, Margaret Conard, is born to Anthony Conard & Sarah Hatfield in Germantown, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.

Absalom Burson is born to Joseph Burson & Mary Rachel Potts at Gilbert's Manor in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Rynear Tyson is born to Peter Tyson & Mary Roberts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Geshert Boorse marries Margaret Kuster in Pennsylvania.

(Absalom Burson is my first cousin 7 times removed. Our common ancestors are Jonas Potts & Mary Thomaston. 
Rynear Tyson and Margaret Kuster are my second cousins 8 times removed. They are second cousins. Our common ancestors are Mathias Dohrs & Agnes Neesgen Op den Graeff.)
