The Worland Family in America and Beyond

I began my life in the Puget Sound area of Washington State, on an island filled with forests and wild rhododendrons. I was separated from my Worland family there at an early age. Recently, I was reunited with my family and learned of my heritage. And so, this journey to know my ancestors began. The Worlands, Gideons, Newtons, Conards... they were the colonists, the settlers, the pioneers. They fought in the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Civil War.  1730-  William Hagan is born to William Hagan & Mary Eleanor Hanson in Charles County, Maryland.

Clement Wheeler is born to Leonard Wheeler & Elizabeth Hanson in Charles County, Maryland.

Isaac Darnall is born to John & Rachel Darnall in Charles County, Maryland.

Henrietta Pye is born to Walter Pye & Margaret Tant in Charles County, Maryland.

Anne Thompson is born to Thomas Thompson & Jane Tant in Charles County, Maryland.

Bennett Hopewell is born to Francis Hopewell & Mary Heard in St. Mary's County, Maryland.

(William Hagan is my first cousin 7 times removed. Clement Wheeler is his first cousin. Clement Wheeler is my first cousin 7 times removed. Isaac Darnall is first cousin twice removed to both William Hagan and Clement Wheeler. Our common ancestor is Elizabeth Hussey.
Isaac Darnall is my second cousin 5 times removed. Our common ancestors are John Robey & Sarah Hines Luckett.
Henrietta Pye and Anne Thompson are my second cousins 7 times removed. They are first cousins. Our common ancestor is Robert Drury.
Bennett Hopewell is my third cousin 5 times removed. Our common ancestors are Robert & Rebecca Cole.)
