1743: A son, John, is born to John Lloyd & Ellen Foulke in Horsham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

A son, Jacob, is born to Samuel Showler & Margaret Levering in  Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

John Pawling, son of John Pawling & Anjje Dewill, marries Elizabeth DeHaven, daughter of Herman DeHaven & Anneken Op den Graeff, in Pennsylvania.


(John Lloyd is my third cousin 6 times removed. Our common ancestors are Aret Klincken & Niske Agnes Jensen.
 Jacob Schuler is my third cousin 7 times removed. Our common ancestor is Thonis Klincken.
Elizabeth DeHaven is my third cousin 8 times removed. Our common ancestors are Hermann Op den Graeff & Gretjen Driessen Pletjes and Pieter Dohrs & Lysgen Grietes.)

September 9, 1741- My fifth great grandfather, John Worland II, witnesses the will of William Boswell in Charles County, Maryland.

Proved Sept 9, 1741: to son George "The Desert" & "Mary's Delight"; to son Matthew his dwelling plantation for 8 yrs; to son John his dwelling plantation for 8 yrs. To wife Mary, dwelling plantation. To children George, William, Matthew, Thomas & John, residue of estate. Executors. wife Mary and son William. Witnesses. William Coomes, John Knyventon, John Worland.

The land was called Robbin's Delight which was surveyed for Henry Robbins in 1689. In November 1715, Thomas Robbins, of Prince Georges County, sold land surveyed for his father, Henry Robbins, in Charles County  to Anthony Neale, reserving out of the original survey 20 acres that Henry had sold to James Boswell prior to 1715..
George was to inherit "The Desert" and "Mary's Delight" at age 19. Matthew and John each received the plantations they lived on.
William Sr., William, John, and Matthew are all on the 1733 Census, Port Tobacco West Side Upper Part. Ann Boswell and John Boswell are recorded as Port Tobacco Upper East Side.
