July 7, 1741- Peter Lukens dies at the age of 45 in Horsham, Montgomery, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife, Gaynor (Evans), and ten children.

Lucken—luken—Family Records.—Miss Annie M. Daniels, of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, contributes the following records of the Luken family, copied from the Bibles of Jan Lucken, who settled in Philadelphia County in 1683:

Peter Lukens was born January 30, 1696 in Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
On October 28, 1719, Peter married Gaynor Evans, daughter of William Evans & Elizabeth Brooke in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
By 1734, Peter and Gaynor had moved to Horsham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, where they resided on 75 acres. The Quaker couple lived on Horsham Road, near the Horsham Meeting House. Horsham Road ran up to their neighbor John Bartholomew's property.
