The Worland Family in America and Beyond
I began my life in the Puget Sound area of Washington State, on an island filled with forests and wild rhododendrons. I was separated from my Worland family there at an early age. Recently, I was reunited with my family and learned of my heritage. And so, this journey to know my ancestors began. The Worlands, Gideons, Newtons, Conards... they were the colonists, the settlers, the pioneers. They fought in the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Civil War. June 1729, Massachusetts
June 30, 1729- Deliverance Smith and his wife, Mary Tripp, die in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Mary is age 51, and her husband is 62. They are interred at the old homestead Hill Meadow burial place.
Most sources have them dying on the same day, though Mary's death is also given as August 19, 1729.
Deliverance's will (below) mentions wife Mary, but in September, it was executed by his son, Humphrey.
Mary Tripp was the daughter of Peleg Tripp & Anne Sisson.

Jonathan Randall is born to Jonathan Randall & Bethiah Howard in Providence, Rhode Island.
John Randall and Martha Williams are married in Providence, Rhode Island. Martha is the sister of Mercy and Lydia who married John’s older brothers.
