January 8, 1743- My fifth great granduncle, Ezekiel Potts, is born to David Potts & Ann Roberts in Germantown, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.

January 25, 1743- John Lukens and his wife, Sarah Lukens, are separated from their church, Horsham meeting, having been disowned for having married first cousins.

(Joseph Potts is my second cousin 7 times removed. Our common ancestors are Thomas Potts & Elizabeth Baset.
John Lukens and Sarah Lukens are my second cousins 8 times removed. They are first cousins. Our common ancestors are Mathias Dohrs & Agnes Neesgen Op den Graeff.)
