May 26, l737- A deed of gift is recorded of a female slave from Mary (Cox) Cawood to her son in law Ralph Robey and Penelope (Cawood) Robey, his wife. It also gives Mary's daughter Ann Thomas, wife of John Thomas, lst child of the slave, and Mary Willet, wife of Charles Willet, the 2nd child of the slave.
