May 1729, Connecticut

May 28, 1729- Abel Parmelee marries Sarah Doolittle in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut. The marriage would be short, Sarah would die the following year shortly after the birth of their only child, Sarah. The infant did not survive.
Abel would go on to wed Mary Beecher in 1731.
Earlier, 1722, Sarah had given birth to a "natural" child by Henry Williams of Haddam. The two would never marry and their child Martha died in 1725.

(Sarah Doolittle is my first cousin 9 times removed. Our common ancestors are Abraham Doolittle & Abigail Moss.)
