December 1740, Connecticut

December 4, 1740- Elizabeth Sleed and Peletiah Clark are married in Haddam, Connecticut. Soon, they would have their first son, Aaron.
The couple were the first settlers of the area of Haddam known as Little Town.

December 16, 1740- Simeon Moss is born to David Moss & Mindwell Doolittle in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut.

(Elizabeth Sleed is my first cousin 9 times removed. Our common ancestors are John Cornwall & Martha Peck.
Simeon Moss is my third cousin 8 times removed. Our common ancestors are John Moss & Abigail "Goody" Charles, Abraham Doolittle, and Deacon Paul Peck & Martha Hale.)
