Mary French was born about 1670 in St. Mary's County to James French & Elizabeth Meekin. Sometime before 1685, she married Robert Thompson, my seventh great grandfather. Robert was a watchmaker who had been born in England. They produced four children.
Robert Thompson died in 1697 and Mary went on to marry Thomas Cissell. Following the death of Thomas, she took a third husband, Charles Daft.
