1725- Reiner Theissen is appointed an elder at the Abington Monthly Meeting. He was first a Mennonite, but seems to have become a member of the Society of Friends before leaving Germany.

Daughters Ann Lukens and Mary Lukens are born to Peter Lukens & Gaynor Evans in Germantown Township, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I do not know if they are twins.

Daniel Potts is born to Daniel Potts & Sarah Shoemaker in Germantown, Pennsylvania.

James Lewis and Sarah Potts are married in Pennsylvania.

(Reiner Theissen is my eighth great granduncle. Ann Lukens and Mary Lukens are my second cousins 8 times removed. Reiner Theissen is her granduncle. Our common ancestors are Mathias Dohrs & Agnes Neesgen Op den Graef.
