September 1710, Pennsylvania

September 27, 1710- William Lukens and Elizabeth Tyson are married at the Abington Meeting House in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
William Lukens owned an excellent farm in Horsham township. It lay along the south side of Privet Road from Horsham Road to the county line. William's house was a log building, which stood a few rods from Privet Road on the opposite side of a small stream, known as early as 1713 as William Luken's Run. William was a devout member of the Society of Friends.
